Thespian Troupe 5150 meets regularly Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 PM in the theatre.

Thespian is the name given to a high school theatre students. It comes from the name Thespis, who is considered to be the first professional actor, but Thespians do much more than just act.

Educational Theatre Association and
Lewis Central was chartered as Thespian Troupe 5150 in March 1993. At the end of the 2019 school year, there were over 25 active Thespians in the troupe. Students obtain membership by being involved in productions, attending conferences and festivals, and participating in various drama club activities. By participating in these events, students earn points, when a student earns points. There is an induction fee of $32 dollars. When a student is inducted they get a 1 year subscription to to Dramatics Magazine, their induction pin, eligibility for senior honors at the time of graduation, and they join millions of high school students that have been inducted in the International Thespian Society.
